Winner Announced At Fisher Cats Game
On Friday, June 10, 2011 Mayor Gatsas; Andy Crews, President of
AutoFair New Hampshire; Superintendent Thomas Brennan and Rick Brenner,
President of the NH Fisher Cats took to the field to give away the "Make
the Grade" grand prize a 2011 Ford Fiesta. "Make
The Grade" is a public-private partnership between the City of Manchester,
AutoFair and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. This program is a shared effort to
recognize academic achievements and enhance community commitment from corporate
partners. The "Make
The Grade" Program awarded a brand new 2011 Ford Fiesta to the junior or
senior high school student who achieved academic excellence by making the
Honor Roll, High Honors and Principals List the 1st, 2nd
and 3rd quarter of the 2010/2011 academic year. Three finalists
from each school were drawn on Monday. The twelve finalists were as
follows:
Manchester School of Technology: Robert Merrill, Levi Pieper, Casey Lewis
Manchester High School Central: Hanna Duffy, Tyler Carlisle, Ram Subedi
Manchester Memorial High School: Devin Murray, Paul Caouette, Jacquelyn LaSalle
Manchester High School West: Marissa, Jernigan, Matthew LaRochelle and Chris Cormier
